New Cary Apartments Open at Alston Town Center

A new residential community has officially opened its doors in one of Cary’s fastest-growing mixed-use districts.

Woodfield Development has delivered the first units at Emorie at Alston Town Center, introducing 302 new apartments to the master-planned Alston development. Located at 3905 Mahal Avenue, the community expands housing options within the heart of west Cary, just 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh and positioned in the center of the Research Triangle.

Emorie offers a mix of studio and one- and two-bedroom residences ranging from 682 to 2,647 square feet. Homes feature open floor plans, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, generous storage, and private patios or balconies. Additional residences, including townhomes, carriage units with private garages, and three penthouses, are scheduled for completion by summer 2026.

Emorie is part of the larger Alston Town Center development, which is planned to include approximately 550,000 square feet of retail space. The center sits within the broader 1,200-acre Alston mixed-use area, where more than 20,000 approved residential units are planned within a three-mile radius. Whole Foods Market anchors the retail component, alongside tenants such as CycleBar, AT&T, and Mattress Warehouse, all within walking distance of the new community.
