A New Chapter for Cary: The Pagemore Hotel Announced at Fenton

By Kyle Marie McMahon

Yesterday, at a vibrant brand reveal event at Fenton, residents and local leaders got their first official look at the future of Cary hospitality. Mainsail Lodging & Development, alongside its partners, unveiled the name and identity of the district’s newest social hub: The Pagemore Hotel at Fenton. The seven-story, 186-room hotel is slated to open in the fall of 2027, but the vision shared yesterday paints a clear picture of a destination designed as much for locals as for visitors.

So, what can the community look forward to once this new landmark is built? The Pagemore aims to be more than just a place to stay; it’s being crafted as a dynamic anchor for Fenton. The hotel’s name pays homage to the visionary Page family, who were instrumental in shaping the town, blending Cary’s history with a bold and modern future. Joe Collier, President of Mainsail Lodging & Development, described the vision as reflecting “Cary’s spirit” while offering an experience that is “both sophisticated and a little mischievous.”

For residents, the most exciting elements may be the inventive dining concepts. The Pagemore will feature Barouk, a signature Eastern Mediterranean restaurant on its second floor, complete with terrace dining for meals that linger under the Carolina sky. The ground floor will feature a lively lobby bar intended as a social hub for spontaneous conversation, while an all-day coffee bar, Frankie’s Daily Grind, will offer a playful spot for a daily pick-me-up. Perhaps most unique is the planned Culinary Theatre, a cutting-edge space designed for immersive, chef-led workshops and dining experiences.

As a member of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, The Pagemore will blend its independent, characterful spirit with a globally recognized standard of quality. Its 186 guest rooms and suites are being designed with “fearless design” and “expressive interiors,” featuring art from boundary-pushing local artists. Each room will include spa-inspired baths, ergonomic workspaces, and other elevated touches.

The hotel’s location within Fenton is key to its identity. Set in Cary’s first vertically integrated mixed-use district, guests and locals will be surrounded by chef-driven restaurants, boutique shopping, and modern workspaces, all within a walkable, artfully planned setting. The Pagemore is poised to become the social anchor in a community already celebrated for its green spaces, cultural events, and exceptional quality of life.

While the doors won’t open until 2027, the announcement of The Pagemore Hotel marks a definitive next step in Cary’s evolution. It represents a collective vision for a project that celebrates the town’s heritage while creating a bold, new gathering place for the community and the world.
