It’s Spring BreakOUT at Downtown Cary Park (327 S. Academy Street, Cary) from 10:00-4:00. Immerse yourself with free family-friendly activities, featuring lively performances, character appearances, face painters, engaging arts and crafts, and lawn games. Food trucks will be parked along Park Street courts.
In our Swiftie era! Before you catch Taylor Swift: The Era’s Tour at 7pm in The Cary Theater, swing by Academy Pavilion inDowntown Cary Park (327 S. Academy Street, Cary) for a pre-show party from 4:30-6:30! Join us for some bracelet-making fun, strike a pose with fellow Swifties for epic photos and make and trade your own Taylor Swift trading cards.
Don your blue, red and gold! Root for the home team—North Carolina FC, that is—as they compete against Hartford Athletic at 7:00 at WakeMed Soccer Park (101 Soccer Park Drive, Cary).
Hop to it! McLean Farms Nursery & Ice Cream Shop (5490 River Road, Fuquay-Varina) has their Easter Festival from 10:00-3:00. Egg hunt, Easter Bunny photos, firefighter wiffle ball tournament, vendors, food trucks and more. It costs $10 per person. Children age 3 and under are admitted for free.
Wag on over to Waverly Place (302 Colonades Way, Cary) for Pups, Pints and Play from 12:00-4:00. Explore a marketplace filled with unFURRgetable delights and meet the sweetest adoptable pets while you enjoy local beer and live music. All the proceeds will benefit Second Chance Pet adoption. Happy Holi! The Hindu Society of North Carolina hosts Holi Mela—a celebration of Spring—at HSNC (309 Aviation Parkway, Morrisville) from 11:00-7:00. Learn about the Holi holiday, have henna paint, enjoy cultural performances and music, and more.
Bring your banjo! Bond Brothers Eastside (602 East Chatham Street, Cary) brings the Appalachian Mountains to town with Eastside Ramblers hosting Bluegrass Open Jam. Feel free to bring an instrument and join in, or simply kick back and enjoy the sounds.
Time for brunch! Peck & Plume (301 S. Academy Street, Cary) will host a special Easter Brunch from 8:00-2:30. With specials like “Eggs in a Basket,” Bananas Foster Waffle, and a bountiful display of house-made sweets and treats, it’s sure to be an EGGcellent time.
Did somebunny say egg hunt? Fortnight Brewing (1006 SW Maynard Road, Cary) is setting up for their 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt and Vendor Market from 12:00-5:00.
