Wreaths Across America Commemoration

The Yates Mill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will commemorate the annual Wreaths Across America event at Hillcrest Cemetery in Cary. There will
be a ceremony honoring service members buried in the Hillcrest Cemetery and the First Christian Church Cemetery of Cary. The Hillcrest Cemetery contains graves of veterans starting from the 1700’s. The Cary First Christian Church Cemetery was nearly lost and has recently been restored. Attendance is free and all attendees are welcome to help place the wreaths on the graves of all veterans in both historic cemeteries. Anyone is welcome to sponsor a wreath for $17 each. Each wreath purchased also provides funds to support active duty and/or veteran causes.
