AfterHours: Science of Beer

Leave the kids at home! This event is for adults 21+!
Join us for everyone’s favorite beer-themed event! Enjoy our indoor and outdoor exhibits while reps from your favorite breweries serve up samples and the science behind them all evening long. Stop by to see NC State’s Sebastian Wolfrum’s presentation on “Bioprospecting in NC” featuring live yeast and get the details from Bond Brothers Beer Company on our signature Museum beer, “Citrusaurus Wheat”! Hop over to play lawn games, compete in our Stein Holding contest, and relax at our outdoor biergarten. Then, take a sunset train ride on the Ellerbe Creek Railway and explore the Magic Wings Butterfly house. You’ll also get to tap into your creative side with Crafts & Drafts and make something unique to take home.
